Connect Hearing wanted to supplement their mass-media rebrand with an interactive campaign in select national markets. Their new website was conceived as an information resource on hearing health, and Copeland brought this knowledge to a more engaging level by using Connect’s new Director of Audiology, MJ DeSousa.
 
A microsite was created that allowed visitors to interactively ‘ask’ questions to MJ, filmed in a coffee shop wearing casual clothes (research showed that consumers were sick of lab coats and doctors’ offices). An additional offer was presented to drive hearing test bookings.
 
Traffic was supported by radio, magazine inserts, enewsletter advertorial and online advertising. In the weeks following, hundreds of visitors engaged with MJ and Connect Hearing’s positioning as the hearing expert was strengthened.
